Why? Because there is no such thing as having "too much information" when it comes to your health and wellness. Information and knowledge is power, period. And feeling empowered is everything.
Many of us are living similar experiences, and yet we often feel alone, or even worse - shameful about what we perceive to be an embarrassing problem. When we are embarrassed, we stay silent. Silence breeds shame, and shame makes our struggles even more difficult.
My hope is to help change that. And it starts here!
I want to create a space where NO question is off limits (I really mean it!), where no one feels judged and where you can tune in to learn something, and feel a little seen!
From painful sex, raging hormones, vanishing libido, postpartum vaginal healing, infertility and bladder leaks (been there!) - there is no judgement here. This is about asking the awkward questions and talking with top experts to get the truth - the information you deserve.
We are going there, unfiltered! And I am so excited you're here.

S5 | E42 Finding Strength Through Fertility Struggles with Emily Getz
Tuesday May 03, 2022
Tuesday May 03, 2022
Emily Getz lost her second child unexpectedly at six months pregnant, due to an external infection. Emily has since struggled with her fertility. She has undergone medical interventions such as IUI and multiple failed rounds of IVF, an ectopic pregnancy, (which resulted in the removal of her right fallopian tube) and most recently in February had a miscarriage at 8-weeks pregnant, which resulted in her first D&C after getting pregnant through natural conception. In this episode we talk about the emotional toll of fertility struggles, what fertility looks like for different people, and how to support those around you experiencing fertility struggles.
Topics Discussed:
- Let’s talk about the language surrounding fertility and infertility.
- What inspired you to create Day 1 Fertility?
- What challenges have you faced/overcome surrounding fertility?
- Have you found less empathy from people going through (struggles with fertility the second time around?) secondary infertility? Let’s talk about this.
- What do you wish more people knew about infertility?
- How can the loved ones of those experiencing fertility struggles support them?
- Can you tell us about your membership program?
